Recipe for Popping corn
Classic Stovetop Popping Corn (Makes 4–5 cups)
Ingredients:

¼ cup popcorn kernels (plain, no oil added)

2 tbsp neutral oil (coconut, avocado, or vegetable)

½ tsp salt (or to taste)

2 tbsp butter (optional, for topping)
Instructions:

Heat oil – In a large pot with a lid, heat oil over medium-high heat.

Test heat – Toss in 2–3 kernels. When they pop, the oil is ready.

Add kernels – Pour in remaining kernels, cover, and shake gently to coat in oil.

Pop! – Once popping starts, crack the lid slightly to let steam escape. Shake occasionally. When pops slow to ~2 seconds apart, remove from heat.

Season – Toss with melted butter (if using) and salt.

🔥 Spicy – Toss with chili powder + lime zest
🍯 Sweet – Drizzle with honey + cinnamon
🧀 Savory – Sprinkle with nutritional yeast or grated Parmesan
