Lemon Pepper Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or boneless)

2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

4 garlic cloves, minced
-
3 tbsp butter, divided
-
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (+ zest for garnish)

¼ cup chicken broth or white wine (optional, for deglazing)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Season Chicken: Pat thighs dry, then rub with lemon pepper seasoning and salt.

Sear: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Place chicken skin-side down; cook 6–8 mins until golden and crispy. Flip and cook 5–7 mins more. Remove and set aside.

Make Sauce: In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add broth (if using) to deglaze. Stir in lemon juice and remaining 2 tbsp butter until melted.

Finish: Return chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over it. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley.
