Mumbai Masala Mix 50g
Mumbai Masala Mix 50g-Sprinkle It on Almost Anything — No Cooking Required
Some spice blends are designed to build a curry.
Mumbai Masala is designed to wake food up.
Inspired by the bold flavours of Mumbai street food, this distinctive blend combines tangy amchur, chilli, and aromatic cumin for a flavour that is simultaneously tangy, spicy, savoury and incredibly moreish.
Sprinkle Mumbai Masala straight over chips, fries, popcorn, fresh fruit, yoghurt, salads or roasted nuts for an instant flavour transformation.
Of course, you can cook with it too — which makes it one of those surprisingly useful blends that can quickly become an everyday pantry favourite.

Why Choose SpicenEasy Mumbai Masala?
No cooking required
Simply sprinkle it over food and eat. It doesn't get much easier than that.
Tangy, spicy and savoury in one blend
Amchur, chilli, black salt and cumin create the distinctive flavour associated with Indian street snacks.
Turns simple food into something completely different
Plain fries, fruit, yoghurt, popcorn or roasted vegetables can be transformed with a quick sprinkle.
Much more versatile than the name suggests
Use it as a finishing seasoning, snack spice or an extra flavour boost in cooked dishes.
Add as much or as little as you like
A small sprinkle adds tang and savouriness; more gives you a much bolder hit of Mumbai-style flavour.
What Does Mumbai Masala Taste Like?
Mumbai Masala is tangy, spicy, savoury and aromatic.
Amchur — dried green mango powder — provides the distinctive sour, fruity tang.
Black salt brings a characteristic savoury flavour.
Chilli adds heat, while cumin gives the blend warmth and aroma.
Together, these flavours create the punchy seasoning commonly associated with Indian chaat and street-style snacks.
It isn't simply hot.
The real appeal is the contrast between tang, salt, spice and aroma.
How to Use Mumbai Masala
Chips & Fries
Sprinkle directly over hot potato chips or fries and toss.
It instantly turns a familiar snack into something much more interesting.
Popcorn
Add to freshly popped popcorn for a tangy, spicy alternative to ordinary salt.
Fresh Fruit
Sprinkle over mango, watermelon, apple, pineapple or cucumber.
The contrast between sweet fruit and tangy-spicy masala is a classic combination.
Indian Chaat
Use as a finishing seasoning for bhel puri, sev puri, potato chaat or fruit chaat.
Yoghurt & Raita
Stir into plain yoghurt or sprinkle over raita for extra tang and spice.
Roasted Nuts
Toss almonds, cashews, peanuts or mixed nuts with a little oil and Mumbai Masala for an easy savoury snack.
One Blend You Don't Have to Cook With
This is what makes Mumbai Masala particularly useful.
There is no need to fry it, marinate with it or build an entire recipe around it.
Open the pack. Sprinkle. Taste.
Keep it on the table alongside salt and pepper and experiment with it whenever something tastes like it's missing a little something.
It works because the blend already combines several contrasting flavours:
Tang from amchur.
Heat from chilli.
Savouriness from black salt.
Warmth from cumin.
Instead of reaching for several different seasonings, you get all of those flavours from one blend.
Try It This Way
Start with something incredibly simple.
Make a bowl of hot fries and sprinkle lightly with Mumbai Masala while they're still hot.
Toss well and taste.
Add a little more if you want extra tang and spice.
Or try it over sliced mango, watermelon or cucumber for a completely different way to experience the same blend.
Beyond Indian Street Food
Once you've opened the pack, try it on:
• Potato chips
• French fries
• Popcorn
• Roast potatoes
• Fresh mango
• Watermelon
• Pineapple
• Apple
• Cucumber
• Avocado
• Salads
• Yoghurt
• Raita
• Roasted nuts
• Chickpeas
• Corn
• Eggs
• Sandwich fillings
• Curries that need a final flavour lift
This is one spice blend where experimentation is encouraged.
If a dish feels a little flat, a small sprinkle of Mumbai Masala can add tang, heat and savoury depth in seconds.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark and dry place to help preserve its distinctive aroma and flavour.
