Premium Panko Breadcrumbs: The Secret to Ultimate Crispiness,Lighter, Crispier & More Crunchy Than Regular Breadcrumbs
Discover the magic of Premium Panko Breadcrumbs, the Japanese-style crumb that creates an incredibly light, airy, and shatteringly crisp coating. Made from crustless white bread, Panko has a unique flaky texture that doesn't absorb as much oil as traditional breadcrumbs, resulting in a lighter, crispier finish that stays crunchier for longer.
Whether you're making the perfect schnitzel, creating crunchy toppings for baked pasta, or air-frying your favourite foods, Panko breadcrumbs are the ultimate choice for achieving a professional-quality, golden crust that elevates any dish from ordinary to extraordinary.
Why Choose Our Panko Breadcrumbs?
-
Superior Crispy Texture: The large, flaky crumbs create a lighter, airier, and much crispier coating than fine, sandy regular breadcrumbs.
-
Lowers Oil Absorption: The unique texture absorbs less oil during frying, resulting in a less greasy and lighter final dish.
-
Versatile Cooking Methods: Perfect for deep-frying, pan-frying, baking, and air frying with excellent results.
-
Neutral Flavour Profile: Has a very mild, slightly sweet taste that doesn't overpower your food, making it perfect for both savoury and sweet applications.
-
Golden, Even Browning: Creates a beautifully consistent, golden-brown colour that is visually appealing.
Popular Ways to Use Panko Breadcrumbs:

SpicenEasy's Ultimate Crispy Chicken Schnitzel
-
Prep Time: 15 minutes
-
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
-
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
-
2 cups SpicenEasy Panko Breadcrumbs
-
4 chicken breasts
-
½ cup plain flour
-
2 large eggs, beaten
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika (optional, for colour)
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
Vegetable or canola oil for frying
-
To Serve: Lemon wedges and a simple green salad
Instructions:
-
Prepare Chicken: Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin until they are an even 1cm thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
-
Set Up Breading Station: Set up three shallow dishes. Place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and SpicenEasy Panko Breadcrumbs in the third.
-
Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip completely in the beaten egg, allowing the excess to drip off. Finally, press firmly into the Panko breadcrumbs, ensuring an even, generous coating on both sides.
-
Cook: Heat about 1cm of oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. To test if it's ready, drop a few Panko crumbs in – they should sizzle immediately. Carefully add the schnitzels (don't overcrowd the pan) and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
-
Drain and Serve: Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Chef's Tip: *For the crispiest result, let the breaded chicken rest on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before frying. This helps the coating set. For a healthier version, you can bake them on an oiled baking tray at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, or cook in an air fryer at 200°C for 10-12 minutes. The key to a great crust is to press the Panko crumbs on firmly!*
